I must say, I have used this product for a long time as its one of those foundations that I keep coming back too. First, it has a great price point which is helpful when you cannot blow your monthly budget on a single product. Second, it is super hydrating on the skin, I love the feel and the natural dewy coverage which also has that all-important SPF 30.

The complexion rescue tinted moisturiser has so many skin benefits, this is the ultimate 3-in -1 multi-tasking make-up as it boosts skin hydration by over 200% in just a week. This water-infused, oil-free formula smooths onto the skin with a refreshing water burst sensation. The lightweight gel-cream, which is 98% naturally derived, gives you the benefits of makeup, skincare and SPF in one step.

This formula is lightweight enough to feel like you are wearing next to nothing, but it is buildable enough to cover up blemishes and even out skin tone.

This is another multitasking product I adore. Hydrating, anti-aging, illuminating, full coverage with SPF 50+ so perfect for daytime events in spring and summer. I tend to wear this when I need extra protection from the sun, but also want full coverage without feeling like I have heavy makeup on. A little goes a long way which is a bonus!

This foundation packs a punch in term of the ingredients such as aloe vera, hyaluronic acid, vitamin b5 and vitamin E that go beyond making the skin look hydrated and healthy, but also helps to refine the skin texture and tone.

I love how this product features micronized light- reflecting pigments to give you glowing skin without glitter or shimmer. This is something I appreciate especially for mature skin, as I get older I try to avoid applying anything too shiny on my face because it can highlight all those fine lines and wrinkles you are ultimately trying to cover.

This foundation is a winner if you like full coverage but also want great skin benefits too.

Charlotte Tilbury - Light Wonder SPF 15

I am a big fan of Charlotte Tilbury. There is not much she does not get right when it comes to skincare and makeup. The Light Wonder foundation is a staple in my beauty bag due to its amazing lightweight formula. It leaves my skin feeling radiant and does a wonderful job at minimizing the appearance of pores, which is helpful as mine are quite larger.

Due to its sheer coverage, I tend to pair it with a good primer, it works well with Charlotte’s Wonder Glow, but another favourite is Light Primer from Velvet Concepts. Together they create a gorgeous glow on the skin, perfect for everyday wear especially in the summer for a dewy, light coverage.

I adore a foundation that give a little more when it comes to skincare. Light Wonder has all the additional skin benefits you would expect. With its ultra-lightweight, skin-perfecting formula, it smooths, hydrates, reduces wrinkles for a seamless, breathable, gorgeous finish. It’s a favourite.

Illusion Hyaluronic Skin tint SPF 15 – Hourglass

This foundation is a great all-rounder and can be used daily. This is my go-to when I am running late, or I am having a manic morning with the children and I have literally 10 minutes to get ready. I can skip some crucial skincare steps if I am desperate enough, and believe me, some days I am. This hydrating formula is fortified with hyaluronan complex, powered by an advanced form of hyaluronic acid and a acceptable dose of SPF so I don’t feel guilty if I can’t do my usual skin routine and need to rush out the door. This foundation has my back.

Not only convenient, but I love how a little goes a long way. Its thick in texture but once you warm up the product with a brush or fingers, I find the product spreads well and is easy to buff into the skin.

Nars - Sheer Glow Foundation

This foundation has a reputation of its own, I think most people have tried this at least once. I have combination to dry skin, and this sits beautifully on my skin. I love the hydrating formula and how easy it is to blend into the skin.

This foundation is buildable, medium to full coverage, so I feel it’s very versatile in terms of wear. I like the satin dewy finish so it’s perfect to wear in the evening for an extra glow.

Great skin benefits as well. This formula is fortified with powerful antioxidants to fight against free radical damage while improving the brightness and texture of the skin.
